Life is Patmos
The local guide to Patmos: our places, our beaches, our tables, hand-picked. With a shop where the island's merchants and makers sell their goods. Born in 2020 as a souvenir shop, rebuilt from scratch in October 2026.
The idea
I spend a lot of time on Patmos. Life is Patmos was born in 2020 as a small shop of souvenirs made on the island: T-shirts, pouches and beach bags sewn by local seamstresses, postcards, posters.
In October 2026 I rebuilt it from scratch as a local guide: the places we go back to every summer, hand-picked by people who love the island. It's the pilot for a "Life is…" brand that could expand to other Greek islands.

- An island shop: the original Life is Patmos goods, and room for the merchants and makers who want to sell theirs. Order online, pick up on the island or have it delivered.
- Practical info for getting there: no airport, you arrive by sea.
How it works
Business owners can claim their listing and manage it themselves, with a sign-in link sent by email: they only see their own listings and products. The site is in English by default, with a French version.
Next.js and Payload CMS in the same codebase, a Postgres database on Neon, photos on Vercel Blob. Built with Claude Code.
